Join Australian author and master dyer, India Flint, for a 2 day intensive dye workshop. India Flint is known for the development of the highly distinctive eco-print, an ecologically sustainable plant-based printing process, giving beautiful color to cloth. Come learn ecologically sensitive dye techniques for natural fibers. The workshop will equip participants with the skills and information needed to extract dyes from a range of natural sources.
India Flint is author of Eco Colour and founder of clothing company, Prophet of Bloom. Based in South Australia, she has taught and exhibited throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. We are excited to offer this unique study opportunity with her, here in Colorado. Come and share her highly original dye recipes, receive guidelines for local plant collecting and directions for distilling non-toxic mordants. Class open to all skill levels.
